This is one of my acrylic paintings of HH47 and is not of this world.
The painting is based on a photograph taken by the Hubble telescope.
It is in a 16" x 12" and framed ready to hang on your wall.
HH (or Herbig–Haro) objects, were first observed in the late 19th century and are bright patches of nebulosity associated with new-born stars. They are formed when narrow jets of partially ionised gas ejected by stars collide with nearby clouds of gas and dust at several hundred kilometres per second.
